No, his country has oil. He should be worried about what we would do
to him. The US has demonstrated a willingness and ability to attempt
assassination of Presidents in South America. Look at how many times
we tried it on Castro.

The current US administration has people in key positions who's
published doctrine is to control the countries with natural resources
such as oil by military means is necessary. These same people have an
operational history in South America that includes promoting such
things.
