(snip)I noticed that too...chuckle.
Which reminds me of the video of the knuckleheads who shot the medic from the van at a range of 75 yrds. I understand the medic treated the survivors wounds after the resulting response.

You have to give credit where credit is due -- the guy is not exactly picking easy and safe targets, and he has to work with usually only a very small and fleeting opportunity for a shot.
Fortunately this type of mentality and skill level is not so easily taught.
This is supposedly what "Juba" has been using: http://www.dragunov.net/iraq_tabuk.htm

Please find the book "ultimate sniper" and read it cover to cover.
You would be surprised at what you can learn from it.
it was written with the aide of Carlos Hath*** the first marine to use the 50 BMG as a sniper round.
Unfortunately he left this world in 1999 other wise this man would be the answer man to ask the question what can our snipers do about the bagdad sniper. He took out a sniper who was aimed at him.
The Skill truely rest with the shooter. No caffine, no stiumulants, no drugs of any kind. it is the skills that use to be taught from father to son to hunt and live off the land. Accuracy takes time and practice.
In their land we are the enemy invasion force. we are the infidels that soil their land. It is very doubtful he/she is using a 7.62 x 39 123 gr to do his/her bidding. I would bet on 7.62x54r or even 7.62 NATO. Finding a fired 7.62 x 39 shell case there I bet is like looking for a blade of grass on my overgrown lawn also he/she could light off a little powder in the case to make it look fired move to some other location take the shot and be back in safety doubtful our guys are looking at the scene very closely to see if a gun was fired there recently. He/She is using the 7.62 x 39 case as a demoralizing factor. The "Hey look you stupid Americans i took you out with a 7.62 x39" factor would distract the people from the bullet itself so they would be looking for something far away instead of close and personal.
Oddly enough i seem to remember people that would pull the bullets of a 7.62 x 39 and load them into a Lee Enfield 303 British case. they down load it enough so the max pressure is not blowing through the bullet and the bullet would fire in the rifle. the p-14 enfield would be accurate enough for the first shot but if the barrel gets warm accuracy suffers.
The gun could also be downloaded to reduce sonic crack sound and be shot from a closer range. "juba" as they call him/her could be shooting with a short barrel AK-47 gun too all he/she has to do is load one round and it will shoot.
Consider this, i admit my point is long and wordy but i know what i am saying when it comes to the loads and the round. remember this is an improvise to the max war. i strongly suggest to our boys to get some no man down vest on some robotic decoys.
