finally got to cut some beans and enjoy a trip to the Mill.
truck ran good and the outside temp was just right to make
it a good ride with the window half open. I think a bird
must have built another nest in the forced air vent cause
not much air was coming in.

blessed I am because when I clocked in on weight in the
price was 10.29 a bushel and since the boy who helps with
the unload was not there I had to do my own sweep up.
took me about 15 minutes to complete the process and return
to the scale so I could weight out and get my ticket.
during that 15 minutes the price was reposted with a 13 cent
a bushel drop. I calculated the difference and realized how
the drop amounted to the cost of the gas required to truck
the beans from the Farm to the mill. yep, blessed I am.

feeling well cared for I decided to treat myself to lunch
at the small town dinner where the smell of delicious home
cooking meets you out on the sidewalk before you ever enter
through the door. kind of starts your mind into the process
of thinking of what you're going to order before you can reach
your table.

while I was enjoying my lunch I was giving thanks to God
for how it is He made sure I was provided with all that I
needed. neat how there are so many variables to any equation.
with beans coming off the thinnest I've ever seen at around
14.8 bushels an acre God moved the price up high enough to
satisfy those government revenue requirements. with the
government satisfied and unable to complain about their rules
having been adhered to, I'm dreaming of cutting land and
planting the next crop.

life is propitious, thank you God.

Thank Him for the steer that was murdered for your meal and thank him
too for the cruel conditions that dairy cows are kept in to provide
your dairy products.

I'm sure He'll appreciate it.;o(
