Usually, use a wire to fish the intake filter from inside the tank
and pull out the fuel line from outside. Make the new line extra long
so you can cut a long diagonal taper to make re-insertion easier and
cut to length when finished
What a bitch. I had to take half the damn saw apart to get the fuel line
out but it's now replaced and running.
I had a chainsaw with a bad fuel line, the shop said it wasn't
economical to repair it. I bought a new line and replaced it, and
concluded the shop was right, it was a real pain in the ass and I could
not afford to pay anyone to do it ;)
we are both not very good americans. see, I repair things
all the time. sometimes I take things apart and wonder if
the manufacture is using child labor so as to have someone
with tiny fingers able to reach into tiny places.
as good americans we are not supposed to repair we are
supposed to buy a new and improved model. buying new
supports a culture of waste and consumption. waste and
consumption is what being a good american is all about.
