Were having constant rain and mud. In spring I dont mind wearing
dairy boots, but right now the temps are in the 80's or above and
having those rubber sealed boots covering my feet and legs is making
me sweat like a pig. I dont tolerate hot weather real well anyhow,
and when my feet are hot my holw body is more hot. The whole farm is
as muddy mess so I have to wear these all day long and it's really
getting to me. A few hours a day would not be so bad but this all day
wearing is really bugging me and I will soon have a case of athletes
foot again from the lack of air in these boots. I dont even wear
socks in them to help keep cool. Is there anything else that would
still handle the deep mud but be cooler to wear?
Thanks
Mark
Go look at the LL Bean website and see if you like their Bean Boots.
They make them with rubber lowers and leather uppers.

I've been wearing my pair for about 20 years now. Sent them back to
LL Bean once to get restitched.
Bean Boots are a LOT more comfortable than barn boots!
Me too. I live in mine, got two pair, one for work, one for Sunday go
to town. Can't kill them... LLBean guarantees them forever anyways.
