You miss the point. The point is that CO2 is NOT the cause on Mars, just like its not the cause on Earth. Yes, CO2 is a major greenhouse gas on Venus because it makes up 80% of the atmosphere on Venus. CO2 makes up less than 0.05% of the atmosphere on Earth and man's contribution is far less than that -- the equivalent of a fart in a hurricane.

I think it would be more accurate to say that CO2 is not the *only* factor contributing to global climate change but ignoring the body
of evidence which correlates highly with changes in average temperature
is right up there with counting the animals on the Arc.
