If you believe the current administration, the economy is so much better
since then, it is more than affordable.

Get used to it.

Oh...and don't forget...and don't forget...you can always try to
USE LESS GASOLINE!

I do and always have. I use as little gasoline or diesel as possible.
Walk to the store, use a wheeled cart to bring home items, and ride a
bike whenever possible. I do not live near "downtown" anywhere. I also
have a natural lawn which gets mowed three times a year.

Well, the economy is strong.
Midway throught he Clinton administration, unemployement hit 5.5%.
During this current Bush administration, unemployment hit a mark of
4.5%. The Clinton administration claimed the greatest economy in the
last 50 years and the media agreed, however, there have been no
praises for the current low unemployment rate.
A recent report was that Americans are not driving as far, however,
the use of gasoline has increased substantialy. I still see consumers
buying new SUVs, big pick up's, and RV's. I still see the same amount
of traffic on the road and lines at the gas stations. This only means
that people still have money.
