No I didn't fail to say where. Man, you are thick. Ok, one more time, here is what I said:

"In my neck of the woods, $5,000 might get you 5 acres of wooded/scrub brush land. If its within say 1000' of an existing power line you might need another $1000, or less, to get power to a meter pole, plus the cost of a 100A meter loop. Not far from here you could buy a used trailor from the local slumlord and you'd be up & running with your own castle."

It wasn't written to give directions to any particular piece of ground or any particular property owner, only to state that it was possible to buy a few acres of land for $5000 to build on because I see it happen in my area. I don't care whether you believe me or not, but you decided to go nuts and pick an argument.
