I was thinking today about Skip,

I was only thinking about Skip yesterday as I inspected my patch
of
much hated variegated Vinca. He tried to convince me how useful
it
was and I have finally come to the conclusion that in the position
it
is located (a dark shady spot) it does light up the garden

This almost gives me the creeps. I was thinking about Skip
the day that you guys posted those messages.

:-))

I've become used to these happenings. Strange as it may seem, it's
always happening to me. I'm a Gemini and although I used to dismiss
anything relating to star signs immediately, I'm now not quite so
sure.

Gemini is supposedly ruled by Mercury, the ancient God of
messages/communication etc. Over the years I've found that I will
start to think about someone who I know I haven't thought about
sometimes for months or years and then out of the blue I will have
news of them and then I realise that the time I started to think of
them seems to co-incide with when the person was writing the letter or
saying that they had decided to get in touch through other contacts or
whatever.

I know it sounds wacky and I have never admitted it to anyone (and now
here I am spilling my guts about it on Usenet - how dumb!!) but I
know it's been something that I've noticed now for more than 30 years.
Make of it what you will (and I can predict the comments now) but I do
know that I now get a sense of excitement when I suddenly start to
think of someone I haven't thought of/seen/heard of, for years. I
know that I'll hear something of them soon.

It was the original ancient Science. I do know that a French couple
who were both scientists decided that the star signs were such a
hokus, arcane form of belief that they decided to debunk it completley
and so became heavily immersed in it. After 16 years they found a
strong correlation between some star signs and careers (Military -
Aries, ruled by Mars the ancient God of War - what a surprise! and
Virgos in Health care). They were still sceptical and I don't blame
them, but..............
