Any fight left in the taxpayers?
Most "taxpayers" are of two minds on this issue.
On the one side are the extra government "services" that someone has to pay
for.
On the other side is that a lot of "stuff" (including some "government
services" like picking up trash along the roads) is cheaper because of the
Illegals.
There is only ONE major group that, if stirred up, could cause the
politicians to come down against the illegals. That group is the poor and
lower middle class blacks.
The illegals claim that they do work that "Americans" will not do.
The "Americans" would be quite happy to do that work if it paid more!
If sufficient blacks get pissed off by "affirmative action" slots being
shifted from them to the "hispanics" the illegals will quickly be rounded up
and shipped out and the southern border will become nearly air tight.
If the blacks of this generation don't get pissed off the Mexicans (etc.)
will be here to say and will just keep on coming to the point where the
"black vote" just will not make ANY difference.
My bet is that the US will start to "look" like Argentina and will end up
being effectively "ruled" by a series of strong men.
Will
better learn to speak Spanish, spud.
