The only country that would benefit from the US using less water, is
Mexico. Only a few hundred square miles of Mexico, at that.
It intrigues me how many commentators have inferred that anything was
said about using less water. When I read these facts -- and the others
in the article linked to -- my thought was that we are fortunate indeed
to have such an abundance of relatively clean water compared to other
places in the world. I have always been amazed by the fact that the
hydrants in our cities and towns provide clean, clear drinking water
in quantities large enough to be used to fight fires when there are so
many places in the world where the drinking water is neither as clean
nor as abundant as it is here. Water is one of the things we tend to
take for granted.
Yeah -- and we're fortunate to have oxygen in the air we
breath to.
Whats yer point?
