In a way, you are very fortunate. Many rural areas have lost almost
all of their population, and are reverting to wilderness and ghost
towns. Much of the Midwest now meets the population requirements for
wilderness. All of the old 100 acre farms are gone, and the 1000 acre
farms are going.
You must live within commuting distance of a city.
