But check out what is happening to the ozone hole over Antarctica.
Antarctica is much closer than Tibet and it is the Antarctic hole which
causes us grief. In addition global warning is impacting on our rainfall
patterns - a concept accepted by our government. This in turn impacts on
our fragile soil structure and soil biota which then moves on up the food
chain.
