Re: Actual Inflation Rates in Canada



I've wondered about inflation "figures" and gasoline prices. I've noticed
that for many years, the gasoline prices will go way down around year end,
then go way up again.

So depending on how you "cook the books", I suppose you could just look at
the price of gasoline each December and say.. "Well gasoline prices have not
gone up much this year." (And not factor in what the prices were for the
other 11 months.)
