Usually the older tandem discs are too flexible to use lift wheels.
They could transported around the farm, by setting the disc gangs
parallel, but to move over a road they had to loaded on a trailer of
flatbed truck. I have one that is similar in design, but uses a
different engaging mechanism. If you plan to use it, check the
bearings, some of the real old ones used wooden bearings with grease
cups. Newer ones have zerk fittings and metal bearings. If these are
good it will be worth replacing that missing disc.
