I recently went to buy another gallon of 2 cycle oil for my chainsaws

wondering about whether I could use outboard motor 2 cycle oil which
can be had for about $7 per gallon.. I know that it is supposedly
designed for water-cooled engines but is there really much if any
difference between the two oils?... Is there anyone out there who uses
outboard 2 cycle oil in their chainsaws..

Sure. Works fine. I'm interested in where you saw oil that high. I
was in Northern Tool on Monday last and didn't notice any increase in
price, at least not enough to get my attention.

Any truth to the rumor that Northern Tool is going out of business?
