Good point on the size, yes, I have wnated a smaller one on occasion.
That being said, the amount of stuff you wind up doing with one when
you have it on hand is a lot more then you would ever pay anybody to
come and do for you. I have the SO drive and I hop in the loader
bucket with the chainsaw and we trim the trees. We never carry large
loads of anything from one end of the property to the other. Lots and
lots of digging and tree removal. Plus it is you driving on your
property. I am sure every heavy equipment operator is not horrable
about tearing up everything in their wake, a lot of them are. Given
that I am not in a rush, I can take the long way and not take out the
yard, or the gardens or the orchard etc.
