Janet! You have to be careful. You are starting to sound like you
believe in personal responsibility!

Actually, all the troll rhetoric aside, this is going to be a terrible
winter for poor people. I normally contribute $500 a year to a local
home heat charity. This year I am doubling that

I'm not sure candles are any cheaper than an electric light bulb, but
you are right. When it gets dark, go to bed.

My question is, if he's so damned poor, why does he have a car? It's
possible to be poor with style, and eat well on very little money, but
it takes energy, determination and intelligence. None of those
qualities are in evidence in his post.

Tinned vegetables are selling 3 cans for $1 at outlet stores right now,
as they clear out the warehouses to make room for the new crop.
