The big power companies are required to buy unused electricity. Too bad
they pay less than half of what they sell it for. Still, I'll show it to my
husband. He worked for the local electric co-op here for 24 years

His initial impression is that with oil prices as they are, the reason
electrical execs like this program is that the benefits go to the electric
companies, not us little guys.
