I understand you weren't criticizing my "Walter says...".

usually sought. DARPA has opened a bid designed for this engine, for a high
altitude engine. I believe it really can only apply to this engine. But
government money is notoriously slow and complicated. Hard to work with
unless you already have a huge commerce machine already in place. Would you
believe, we are expected to compete with Boeing in some of these SBIR
grants? That's Small Business Innovation Research.

Patents expire after 20 years unless further patents are applied to it.
Hence Walter's additional patents on the engine.

Yup, this is a gamble. All investment is, but this even more so. Bigger
risk, and bigger pay-off. But I also believe in it.
