Anybody have a Snapper HZT21480BV (FastCut XL)

I bought one of these in the early summer and am very unhappy with it.
I was wondering if anybody else here has one and what you think of it?
The biggest problem is that my yard is slightly hilly...nothing bad
and I can mow it with the Snapper but it seems that unless I have the
deck at LEAST to position five, it tends to scalp the yard.
The other problem is that I have about a 1/2 acre pond in the front
yard. The banks are not at all steep but while I could mow right to
the edge of it with my old Craftsman lawn tractor, I can't even get
close with the Snapper. The caster front will suddenly just drop and
you end up with the front tires stuck in the water. I thought at
first that it was just a matter of getting use to the way it handles
but after mowing with it for about 60 hours now, it just doesn't work
well on any type of slopes.
I have 5 acres and when you take out the area for the house and other
buildings, I probably mow around 4 acres. I was really excited about
the zero turn, thought it would save me a lot of time, but that just
hasn't turned out to be the case. If you want to make turns without
leaving skid marks, the turning radius ends up being at least as much
as most modern lawn tractors.
I've got a 5 year old Craftsman with a 50" deck that I've ended up
using more than the new Snapper. It gives me a much nicer cut. At
this point, I think I should have bought a new conventional lawn
tractor instead of the zero turn.
