well, knowing where you live would help. butterflies & moths
(and thier caterpillers) are regional.
the only thing i know of (north east US) that is pink/grey &
that size is a Pandorus Sphinx moth caterpiller, but they
don't have any yellow protuberences on them... is it possible
the yellow things are eggs of a parasitic wasp of some type
(in which case the caterpiller is doomed)?
