I assumed when I first heard the word "engine" that this was all abut car
engines. And actually, the first application we talked about was race cars,
since my friends were involved in racing. Walter has a lot of experience
with Formula One, but this engine can't be used for that.

We began looking for applications other than automotive, hoping we could
produce the engine for a niche market. The simplicity of the engine would
make it possible to produce at a reasonable cost even for a small plant.

Currently we're going for an SBIR grant through NASA/ARL. Still working
with DARPA and DOE.

Gliders. That does have a nice feel, doesn't it.
