That's it? Deficit spending caused the *sky high* costs all by

Some college professors make over $120,000 per year!

That's what inflation is all about; those who can, kept up with higher
wages to offset their loss in wages with inflation.

Poor thing, when one does not understand implications of inflation.

When one expects to be given a job, I guess it follows that one should
expect to be given an education, too.

Let's see, "minerals" don't come to a mining company's front door.

It's a 'free lunch' for industry when others are paying for cost of
education; after all, they have to pay for plant/equipment.

Yes, industry has been on a 'free lunch' for years, in regards to 'no
charge' for higher university costs.

Even graduating dentists can find offers to pay off their loans...join
military, or some practices offer this feature.

Kept in mind, that this paradigm that tuition costs for higher
education should be paid for via students mostly, could be subsidized
via state/federal taxes instead.

They have been heavily subsidized . But, and I know this is a small
point for you, the states don't have as much money any more.

No problem, take it out of 'defense budget,' and make up for this loss
via other countries paying for it since it was suppose to be "good for
them," or increasing corp taxation:-)
