Yes, we have a military mosque in Washington. It's located in theDoes your criticism extend to the ADL?
Pentagon where 184 people died on 9/11. It comes complete with an Army
Muslim chaplain. You didn't know there's a mosque in the Pentagon?
Neither, it seems, do the slopehead tools of the right ("When we press
your button you will all scream: "no mosque near Ground Zero"!) or the
Jewish ADL hypocrites who, of all people, would deny Muslims their right
to lawfully erect a place of worship. Hitler must be laughing in hell
over that one.
Or maybe these cretins do know it but would rather not tangle with the
military. It's so much safer attacking a minority.
Yup, sorry I missed that for a moment there.
By the way, I hear that CNN's Fareed Zakaria has returned the Hubert H,
Humphrey Prize he received from the ADL...along with the $10,000 that
went with it. Said Zakaria:
"I was thrilled to get the award from an organization that I had long
admired. But I cannot in good conscience keep it anymore. I have
returned both the handsome plaque and the $10,000 honorarium that came
with it. I urge the ADL to reverse its decision. Admitting an error is a
small price to pay to regain a reputation." http://tinyurl.com/26korgb
Classy.
Such actions are admirable even if you happen to disagree with the
position being taken by the individual taking the action. I do
disagree with him.
The ADL's position is reasonable. They are not saying the legal right
to build the center does not exist. They are saying the morality of
doing so is in question.
It's not. Wrong location.
What is your point? "Wrong location" is too ambiguous for me to feel
comfortable with any understanding of your post that I might reach.
Are you saying something is in the wrong location? If so, what is in
the wrong location?
The building of the Center. It's two city blocks away. This is another fake republican issue, the locals already voted this thing in. To repeat, the locals voted to allow this construction. This story has national legs essentially because of unconscious and conscious hatred. Perhaps that's to be expected in a free nation after 3000+ dead - people are only human - but taking advantage of it, as the right is and the Israelis are trying to do, is spitting on their graves in my opinion.
