You, like Fig are blinded by your ideology.

Really? In December of 2000 a former m.n.i.d. contributor, Big Gun,
posted an article at the height of the Bush-Gore election controversy
entitled "The Next President Must Be Bush for the Good of the Country"
To which you replied:

"It's not only for the good of the country, BG, it's for the good of our
entire system."

You stand by that? If so, who are you to talk about being blinded by
ideology?

You've become even more senile, apparently.

Supporting one candidate over another, especially given what Owlgore
was doing with the ridiculous lawsuits to recount only part of the
votes, etc., is not comparable to posting a mindless rant about a
misspelled or made up word and blasting one person about
mispronouncing a word when those you worship mispronounce it as well.

Get a hobby. Volunteer. Make (or perhaps, buy) a friend. Digging
through 10 years of posts to find a (weak) attempt at a gotcha is
rather pitiful, Fig. Even for you.

Nice try, but you totally avoided commenting on the crux of your response, namely that you thought Bush was good for the country.
You also avoided saying whether you still held that opinion in the face
of what followed for the next eight years. Care to enlighten us on those topics SPECIFICALLY?

As to getting a hobby, I already have one...puncturing pompous gasbags
practicing their own particular hobby of spreading right-wing sludge
wherever and whenever they can.

I hope you enjoy your hobby as much as I enjoy mine.
