The President?s top economic advisor, Larry Summers, told me that ?by
spring employment growth will start turning positive.?
During my "This Week" interview, Summers said that ?everybody agrees
that the recession is over,? but he did not say when the unemployment
rate could be expected to drop further.

And spending $787,000,000,000 will keep unemployment below 8%.
It's also nice how he claims that everyone agrees the recession is
over. I'd wager that not even 1/2 of folks would agree with that.
"Everyone agrees" is sorta like "the debate is over". Anytime I hear
those words from someone connected with this administration or
congress, or the global cooling/warming/change crowd, it's a good sign
that things are not as they are pretending.
Your lot caused the problem. What would you do to shorten it? How
much suffering would you have the little people bear to take care of
the wealthy that profited?
Since the big corporations decided to abrogate their promises to the
working people of this nation, a darned lot of people are in 401ks
that went way down because of the tampering with the market of the
Wall street people.
The greedy sons-of bitches that were Enron took a darned lot of
people down when their scam was exposed. Bernie Madoff's investors
will probably get less than $.50 on their investment dollar. The
American taxpayers will foot the bill for the excesses of investment
houses. You wonder why people want to tax the rich? You are a
foolish person, and I don't say that lightly.
I'll take that to mean that you believed the administration when they
said borrowing the $787,000,000,000 would keep unemployment below 8%?
'figures.
Oh, and no I don't wonder why **some** people want to tax the rich
(disporportionately, I assume you mean). There will always be wealth
enviers and gimmee gimmee folks. Oddly enough, it's often the 48% who
do not contribute one single penny to the running of the federal
gummit who complain the loudest.
If the foo shits....
Buzzy, Label it as you will. Facts are facts; you shit on the
middle class, and you will pay big time. It is the reason for the
Russian revolution, and a lot of other revolutions that took the
wealthy down a peg or two.
Laugh if you will, but when the middle class dies, the wealthy will
be in greater peril than ever.
