Your asking to justify that ROTC student act the same as of that gal was in

We do have freedoms, and that student does not have to stand, take off her

The suspension was over-board, I would have required that girl to attend a
Civics class and learn what she was defending.

Tom, I don't know what school you went to when you were a kid, but in my time in the schools I went to, that crap was commonplace. In fact, in my time the teacher that blabbed would have had to face hostile kids. Adults are supposed to be smarter than kids. The incident should have been handled differently.

The kid was wrong to verbally attack the Muslim girl but the teacher was wrong to hurry and report the incident. All that would have been necessary would be to talk to the girl in a manner that would show her the error of her ways. A repeat of the incident should be reported to the girls father.

The suspension may well cause the girl to begin a hate campaign. The incident was handled in a stupid manner.
