Not on that story. And overall no I don't think they put spinGuess you missed the report a while back where CNN admitted to
on there news. Not saying some there shows don't either, such as Lou
Dobbs, now that is pure spin. Same goes for there talking heads.
withholding news...
You're right it isn't. But not reporting a story could be worse than
putting a spin on a story. One supplies biased information while the
other provides no information. I suppose it depends upon how one
perceives the importance of knowing about a particular issue.
I am sure you are talking about Iraq when CNN was the only
news agency in the country.
I was talking in generality,
Prove it.
If you apply common sense, that would be proof enough.
No Nick, you claim they do NOT report all the news stories for
some tinfoil hat reason, I said prove it, you reply was basically you
can't.
however, when CNN was reporting Iraqi news,
how would you know CNN wasn't reporting only what CNN wanted to report.
Since it came out that's what they were doing to stay in Iraq.
Same could be said of you, how would you know CNN isn't reporting what
CNN wanted to report. Besides all news agencies do that, they
proitize what to report and what not to report.
Since you believe _all_ news agencies report what they want to report,
then those news agencies you prefer are no better than Fox news.
Therefore, it's just a matter of which biased news reporting you
choose to accept.
Since there is a big difference between NOT reporting
something, and just making *** up and passing it off as news.
