Odd tactic. You are looking for a very specific few people with a
website - those are usually more effective when addressing a large number of
unqualified strangers. How will you get the witnesses to notice your site?
Are you putting up posters in the neighborhood, or...?

I stopped six lanes of traffic as I unwedged myself from the undercarriage.
The witnesses would be commuters, who will be there tomorrow at 4:28. They
would be workers at the bank on the corner, say the security guard or a
teller wondering what all the hubbub was about. There were several cars
lined up behind her, exitting from the bank.

I'm gonna buy a stamp that has lomas-assault.net on it, and as I press
flesh with people, give them a means to contact me.

Among other things, she gave me a concussion (without the helmet I'd be a
veg), but I'm starting to remember the scene again.

I'm not shy about finding people. I don't think signs will do any good, as
people won't see them off of lomas: traffic is crazy. Maybe the bank has a
place to hang a flyer. I was thinking off just printing out the webpage
for that.

I would think that I would need a large sign and sit there myself to hold
it for an hour between 4 and 5, if that's what it comes to.

If you were going to hold a large sign to catch the attention of possible
witnesses, what would you put on it?

now I want to pimp it out a little bit. I've centered the main image
and don't want a whole lot of junk on the welcome page. I like that
it downloads in real time with a dial-up, something I'm sensitive
too, as I have a dialup.

Lookin' pretty healthy in that photo. Just sayin'. =)

That's exactly the way I looked when they scraped me off the street.
Contusions, concussions, and torn ligaments won't keep me from smiling for
a camera.

We question most of the mantras around here periodically, in case
you hadn't noticed. :-)
