More Neocon Bullshit

Um...okaaaay

Patrick Henry said, "Give me liberty or give me death." He didn?t say,
"Give me a little radio show so I can afford to keep myself stocked up
on peroxide and teeth whitener." Okay, he did say that...but it was
much later in his career. My point is that right-wing radio hosts are
kinda nuts.

When we're taking our dog to swim in the ocean on weekends (she's
nuts, too), I tune the car radio to our local talk station to hear,
purely for amusement, a syndicated radio lady named Monica Crowley.
(You may have seen her on The McLaughlin Group, where she sits in Tony
Blankley's old chair---Ewww!) She's like a mid-level GOP talk
shrieker. Last Saturday she was rallying her listeners to start a
second American Revolution. Apparently George Bush didn?t completely
destroy the country, and she wants to finish the job. This is from her
web site, which I won't link to because her servers might melt if more
than a dozen people visit at the same time:

Our 2nd American Revolution of Ideas is underway to beat back the
hydra-headed monster of socialism. Join our ragtag bunch of New
Minutemen, before the monster devours our great nation once and for
all.

Saturday on the radio she proclaimed her leadership of this revolution
by calling herself---over and over---"Patrick Henry in a skirt."
Yeah---the "liberty or death" guy. In a skirt.

Anyway, I just wanted to give you a heads-up (a "hydra-headed" heads
up, ha ha ha ha ha ha). When you see people stumbling around your
street with torches and pitchforks, you can thank Monica. Oh, and you
should probably call the police. Mainly to prevent the New Minutemen
from poking their eyes out and setting themselves on fire.
