Ray,
First, go to adobe.com and install the latest Flash player. There is a
button there to do that.
Then go to Tools | Options | Programs tab and press Manage Add-ons. Look
through all the lists to see if anything is disabled.
As for cookies - it depends on the site as to whether they demand a cookie
be installed. I simply set cookies to medium-high on the Privacy tab and
don't worry about it.
