Lifting geriatrists up, braking up fights between patients,
etc, etc. Such titles such as "Psychiatric Technician" or
"Psychiatric Therapist Aid" are job titles for people who work in the
State's Mental Intuitions who take care of the patients on a day to
day basis. As one who was "Psychiatric Therapists Aid" (by the way
there was no Psychiatric Therapist's for us to be aids to, but it's
just a way of the state giving us a lower pay check) in NYS at Kings
Park Mental Intuition, getting hurt on the job was a regular thing
there.
