I agree that accountability is a must, and I'm sure there will be an
accounting after the crisis is over or there will be heads rolling on
Capitol Hill. As there should be.
....that's a bit like closing the barn door after the horse has
escaped. They've already noted that some of this money is going to the
fools that created the situation in bonuses. I would have made it a
requirement of receiving any of the TARP money that the top execs be
fired outright. And they be sued for any bonuses received during the
time when we were losing our shirts...
