Re: The Brave Five - Four Democrats, Representatives Dennis Kucinich (OH), Maxine Waters (CA), Gwen Moore (WI), and Nick Rahall (WV) and one Republican, Ron Paul (TX)

Chris, I don't "trust" what is written, I READ what is written. I still
think you try too hard to "walk the line" and sometimes, especially in this
case, that is detrimental to your credibility. The bottom line is that
Israel has been getting sucker punched for quite awhile and finally figured
out that they are the only ones who will stop it. Not the UN, not the USA,
not France, et al. And as my Daddy taught me, when someone hits you,
respond with a 2x4 so the issue is resolved quickly and with finality.

2,681 days without another terrorist attack on the United States.
Thank you President Bush! <cheering>

Well duh! If you would just trust what I have written to you it would
be apparent that I don't need this particular free clue. I believe
you will find it very difficult to point to any post of mine that
suggests human kindness is the cure or preferable solution to Hamas
lobbing rockets into Israel.

I've been very clear in stating I support Israel's response in this
matter. Do you believe otherwise?

I'm not a dove or a "peace at any cost" sort of person. I am a firm
supporter of self-defense on the personal and international level.
Perhaps you've forgotten that I supported, and still do, President
Bush's invasion of Iraq to throw Hussein out. I don't much agree with
some of the tactics but that is an entirely different matter.

What I found objectionable in your initial post was its totally
incorrect characterization of what I have posted on this matter. I
don't mind someone disagreeing with me but I don't like it one little
bit when that disagreement is based on a mis-statement of what I've
clearly stated to the contrary.

At first I felt you simply mis-understood my position. Now I am
beginning to wonder if something else is going on.
