Excessive SNR
I've seen this group go through a lot of changes in the 11 years I've
been reading and sometime participating, but the of late, the signal to
noise ratio seems to be excessive. what is with so many posters
billboarding the group? Trudog has been doing that for a while with his
copy and paste blog posts, but now it seems more posters are doing it.
Perhaps, I'm just not up with the times, but I found the group more
interesting to read when a poster would put up a single post in a day and
let the discussion ensue. Seems like there is a lot less discussion and a
lot more petty name calling.
Reminds me of the behaviour of the eighth grade. I know I'm reading a lot
fewer posts and participating even less. Seems I'm not the only one as a
lot of heretofore posters seem absent these days.
