I'm thinking of Indianapolis, tho - east side, where there's a piece of land

to get back there.

This is a first: I've never *known* anyone who wanted to live
anywhere near Indianapolis. <g>

I know Indy, it has a good SCCA Region that wants to road rally, its cheap as
anything, it is the amateur sports capital of the world, and I can be a race
fan again there. Here in Virginia, there's not much choice beyond NASCAR. Indy
has NASCAR, Indycar, Formula 1, USAC Silver Crown Cars, sports cars, drag
races, go-karts, and 60 miles away in Terre Haute I can see the World of
Outlaws sprints, the most exciting form of motorsports in the world - 800
horsepower in a 1200 lb car. Freakin' awesome!
