It's a bit underpowered compared to the Tesla (already in production).

The Tesla smokes about everything 4-wheeled except the Bugatti Veyron 16.4
(V-16 engine, 1001 HP, 4-wheel drive, top speed of 155mph). The Tesla could
do around 185, but is electronically limted to 125.

If Tesla could get hold of the Altairnano battery technology, one wonders
what they could do with it. It is a quantum-leap forward for battery
technology, more than doubling the power/weight tario.
