Problem is that oil is a commodity. Do you really think the oil companies are going to, out of the kindness of their hearts, sell it for less than they can get on the open market? Where is their vested interest in flooding the global market with cheap oil?

Of course not.

But I DO think that when this source comes on line in force, the downward pressure on OPEC producers will be immense. It surely won't drop below the production floor...
