Most app-user folks like it, most techies don't. Microsoft moved things
around, and not everything is where it used to be. If you don't mind a bit
of a learning curve, you'll probably be ok.
Basically, turn off Window Animation, Fade, Slide, and tweak the Start Menu,
and Vista is ok. I'm getting used to it (as in learning where stuff is). I
perfer to live without that that pesky User Account Control, but everyone
should make their own call on that one.
Be sure that either Vista includes drivers for older hardware, or that they
are available from the mfgr.
