Reagan did us a great favor. He enabled the ability to distinguish
pro-Soviets from anti-Americans. The pro-Soviets went away.


Ah, there it is - the tired old "anti-American" slur. I was waiting
for that one. It is the standard shortcut to thinking applied to those
who disagree. No need to rebut the argument - that would require
logical thinking. No need to compromise - that would require
cooperation. No need to even *try* to understand the other side's
position - that would require a bit of compassion. Just label them
"anti-American". Anyone who disagrees with the Republican talking
points couldn't possibly be a real American. You're either with us or
you're against us.

Hey Trudogg! I don't know about you, but when I get the "anti-
American" insult, I consider myself to have won the argument. ;)



You certainly, have.

For instance, in trudogg's case, it took a couple of years to arrive at the conclusion that he was a total fool and not just another sufferer of the Bush Derangement Syndrome. In your case, the conclusion has been considerably foreshortened.
