We have another statement from Major Ludeke at FOB Falcon regarding
the "Scott Thomas" "Shock Troops" story in the New Republic:

Mr. Thomas said he was unable to tell if the female was Army or not
since she was wearing standard issue clothing. *If* Mr. Thomas was
unable to see the rank insignia, he damn well would not have insulted
this female, even if he were alone, since she just might outrank a
Private. Insulting superiors is Frowned Upon, and can result in
severe disciplinary action.

I also mentioned that if this scumbag had really mocked a female for
the war wounds she had, he wouldn't have made it out of the hall
intact. If he did it in front of me, he'd be picking his teeth out of
my sandals, and I don't think active military would be any less
offended by such inhuman, disgusting behavior.

The idea that any of this proves anything is beyond infantile - especially
