I don't have a negative attitude towards the poor as in those in Africa
or those affected by disasters, I do have a sense of apathy towards
those who continue on the path of destruction, those who don't learn
from their mistakes. There is a difference between helping those who
will help themselves (but still remain poor) and those who will just
take and not do anything about their situation. While some may not be
able to improve their immediate lives, by encouraging their children
they will improve their future generations. I give extensively to
educational causes such as Greenville Literacy and Greenville Library.
