You are right Duine (for the first time in your life?)... I am French!!! But
to me it is neither pride nor achievement... it happened that I was born, by
chance, in a western country. That's all!!!!

It's funny how fascinated (same grammatical root as fascist?) you get with
the culture of heroes.

As you may know, France like UK have played the dirty arrogant colonialist
predators for several centuries... but the cult of human idols stopped after
WW1 and the desolation it left. If the Army surrendered so rapidly during
WW2, it's probably due to the shame of our past and the great expectancies
delivered by the "Front Populaire". That "past" is "your present" now as
you are the new XXIst century predators (before Chinese and Indians smash
you down in the forthcoming decades.... months!!!).

By "your present" I mean the life of the few wealthy families that rule your
country... you, as an individual, are just a victim fed with the usual crap
that makes you close your eyes and ears: "Heroism, patriotism, religion,
consumerism".

BTW, did you know that 60% of the wounded veterans from Vietnam and Gulf War
1 and Iraq were homeless in your own country!!!!

Nowadays, France is regularly invaded... by tourists!!!..... as the most
visited country in the world: "just for their pleasure"... and that is more
than enough to me...... but nothing to be proud of, only happy to live
here!!!
