I'm feed up with myyahoo as my homepage so i went looking around and
found this.
You were brainwashed from your days on Worldnut on the need for a Homepage, why?
That is PROBABLY true, but when you open up your browser it has to go
somewhere-:)
99% of the time when I need to open a browser I have a destination in mind.
I use one of 4 methods for a quick way to get where I'm going:
1. Toolbar Quick Launch link to open Gmail that uses POP to access my email
accounts,
selects out spam, and puts the rest in an Inbox for viewing.
2. Toolbar Quick Launch link to open a local HTML page/table of categorized
drop-down
boxes with links to my most used sites.
3. Toolbar WinXP IE Address Box.
4. Toolbar add-on - Dave's Quick Search - http://www.dqsd.net/
Btw, when I hit the Homepage button on my keyboard I go to #2.
I don't do quick launch and I don't do keyboard shortcuts.
Not one for efficiency, I take it. ;-)
