Is this before or after they institute national health care?

I hadn't heard anything about this being first up on their agenda.
Perhaps
you have inside information I don't have.

So what would be wrong with national health care being high on the
agenda? I figure it is long past due.

Business complains about the high cost of heath care, and some
studies show that single payer systems would be less costly. We could
give some "relief" to industry, and the people. Sounds like a win-win
thing to me.

Oh, I forgot about the insurance companies... Yes I did...

Cheers! :)

Dave,

I rather imagine Rick was being sarcastic ... going back to the old GOP
aversion to national health care ... or other programs that may not be
considered good (read money making) for big business. It's the same as a
Republican scornfully mouthing the word "liberal" as if being liberal were
something shameful.
