No liberal media taking heads on the tube talking about this news.
Michael Isikoff, of Newsweek, with David Corn of The Nation, is
telling us what was known for a long time, that Richard Armitage was
the leaker of Valerie Plame's name to Robert Novak and to Bob
Woodward. The amazing thing about this is that Fitzgerald knew this,
so the Justice Department knew this early on in the investigation.
This whole investigation ended up being pointless, and the
investigation, because it turned up nothing. Armitage kept quiet, for some
reason nobody leaked in time
for the investigation that he was the leaker in all of this. So the
investigation goes on and totally transforms itself into a process
investigation where they nail Scooter Libby for having conversations
with media types and then not being able to remember it and are
calling it perjury and obstruction of justice, when they knew at the
How many people think that it was still Rove and Libby in the White
House that did it? Hey, Joe Wilson, are you going to apologize to the
White House, and demand that Richard Armitage be frog-marched out
of the State Department? He's already out of the state department.
He's gone, he resigned with the other chicken shit, and non-team
player & Administration traitor, Colin Powell.

example came this week when it was finally revealed that Colin Powell's
oak-necked majordomo Richard Armitage - and not some star-chamber neocon -
"outed" Valerie Plame, the spousal prop of Washington's biggest ham, Joe
Wilson. Now it turns out that instead of "Bush blows CIA agent's cover to
silence a brave dissenter" - as Wilson practices saying into the mirror
every morning - the story is, "One Bush enemy inadvertently taken out by
another's friendly fire."
