An _effective_ global warming initiative would have been a law requiring
California to build 50 nuclear power plants by 2020... but that would be too
rational for environmentalists.

What else would one expect from liberal California. This is a state
whose politicians think they should set the standard for the rest of the
nation to follow. Therefore, it stands to reason, the dummies here are
just as good or even dumber than dummies found anywhere.

Bet it won't be long before they start howling about the prices they
pay for gas and energy and demand that they pay what their (out of
California) neighbors pay for it.
Before long, they'll probably demand Colorado toughen its standards
because the water they are hijacking from the Coloradans has too many
contaminants to suit them.
