The HTTP download may result in a file that's about 250K. If so, that's
not
the full installer. Use the 'if download doesnt start shortly, click
here'
link. The downloaded file should be >800kb.

...hmmmm. Are you advocating the illegal usage of copyrighted DVD
materials? I'm shocked...<snicker>...

And, in addition, DVD Decrypter is the best program I've ran across, that
for copying video files between computers.

It's long and complicated, but, at Nowhere's TV station, we broadcast
programs "shot" by several different photographers, using several different
cameras. Some of the camera operators have access to very rudimentary
transfer programs, and as a result, their disc's show up at the station,
usually as AV files. (Full quality AV files are normally huge files,
ranging upwards towards 10 gigs for an hour's worth of filming. When the
video discs are created, whatever program is used, normally compresses the
video into the MPEG2 format, along with other information.) We need MPEG
files only. DVD Decrypter allows us to breakdown the AV files to it's
components, and strip out the MPEG2 files buried in the AV component.

Once, we have the basic file (MPEG2) any video editing program, (Studio,
Nero, etc), can handle the editing with ease.

We've been checking into some "scheduling" software, HIGH dollar stuff. The
cheapest we've found so far is $7500 and it only works with MPEG files.
Lots of software will allow playing one show right after another, including
Window's media and Nero Showtime, but playing a specific show at a specific
time is a totally different story.
