We both voted for Kennedy as committed young liberals. Today, I think he would say the same thing I have said - something like, "There's a lot about Bush to dislike, but he deserves credit for 56 months since 9/11 without a repeat." Why is it impossible for most Bush-bashers (and I'm often one of them) to openly admit that?

If someone posted a favorable comment about the necktie Bush wore to a press conference, the poster would probably be crucified.
